Belmont House on Shetland has won the RICS 2011 Scottish Building Conservation Award and the overall Scottish Building of the Year.
"I would like to extend my congratulations to the team behind the renovation of Belmont House for winning our Building Project of the Year. It was obviously a labour of love reinstating the derelict building to its former glory but by doing so has created a stunning focus for the community and visitors alike for years to come." Graeme Hartley, Director, RICS Scotland.
"The quality of the entries to the RICS Scotland Awards this year were particularly high, giving us much to consider.” Laura Johnstone, Head Judge, RICS Scotland Awards
