GRA are in the process of restoring Lamb’s House, an historic 17th century merchants’ house in the heart of Leith. Formerly offices and a day centre for the elderly, it was acquired by GRA in April 2010 and subsequently, has been transformed into a family home and office for Groves-Raines Architects Ltd.
Construction of the pavilion and garden wall is ongoing. The wall will create a private garden with openings to allow views though to the historic building. The pavilion, with its distinctive ‘Ogee’ profile roof, will contain a two bedroom dwelling adjacent to the main building.
